The internal name for these stashes is "alloy stash", even though only brass (copper+zinc) and bronze (copper+tin) are alloys, iron is a pure metal. However since stashes can only be destroyed by towers, the field is modified in Iron Wizard mode to have extra paths, where the stashes are placed and towers can be built. Field P5 is normally a trap-only level.

This made it possible to stall for time by letting a single monster run multiple laps to the Orb, or by letting a Wraith fly around the map.

However, those Wizard Stashes were moved into Endurance Mode, in an update in early 2020.

Some stashes contain secret field tokens. If a field with a previously opened stash is replayed, the stash can be destroyed entirely, but has many more hit points than before.

If the stash appears in Endurance Mode, they must be destroyed before either the end of the current maximum endurance wave number or the orb is destroyed. To keep the prize in journey mode, the battle must be won. They have varying amounts of hitpoints, armor, and/or shields. They contain various prizes ranging from shadow cores, talisman fragments, skill tomes, and battle traits. In Chilling/Frostborn mode, Wizard Stashes are found in certain fields and are often hidden in Endurance mode. I'm glad that some people enjoy spending tens of hours playing a single map (or more, in the case of extreme endurance completions).Stashes are introduced in GemCraft Lost Chapter: Frostborn Wrath and are the effective successors to Tome Chambers from GemCraft Chapter 2: Chasing Shadows. GC2's final battle was pretty weak compared to Minecraft's. But in Minecraft there was the knowledge that building your base / farms / etc were helping lead you to the goal of getting the The End. Normal (cracked), Soft-core cheats, and Hard-core cheats All 3 versions have the following attributes: - Can play it locally from your hard-drive.

If you enjoy the simple act of playing the game with no real purpose (as many people do in Minecraft) then that's great. The "endgame" reminds me of a certain Simpsons dialog: Instead of there being some point to becoming more powerful in the game the developers just added heaps of numerical difficulty (for which Flash is woefully inadequate). You choose your objective in this game : clearing all levels on normal ? on haunting ? Achieve wizard level 10000 ? This seems like kind of a cop out. With high enough wizard level, a single grade 2 or 3 gem is enough to clear any stage anyway.
